You will bask in panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal Waterway while enjoying live entertainment, Cabana Boy Cocktails and Spanish-influenced Topaz. The Hotel Zamora’s unique Castile Rooftop Bar offers the perfect combination of sweeping views of nature while maintaining an urban vibe, making this Pride Party an event like no other this Pride Week.

Friday, June 24, 2016: SP2 Concert

SP2 Concert is a fundraising event to assist in funding various Tampa Bay community organizations. This year's concert features the legendary Deborah Cox.

A mix of various bands and local singers will warm up the crowd as attendees cool down with their choice of Bud Lite and Absolut Vodka beverages. Beverage sales benefit the St Pete Pride Community Grants Program. The concert is being presented by St Pete Pride, and the proceeds will go to the St Pete Pride Community Grants Program.

To celebrate the event, a special Pit Pass will be offered where you and your friends can view the concert directly in front of the Wells Fargo Stage.

Saturday, June 25, 2016: St. Pete Pride 5K

Join us for the annual St Pete Pride 5K, an official event of Tampa Bay's LGBT Pride Celebration. The race will be followed by a Finish Line Party, featuring beer for race participants, live DJ and entertainment, and awards for the race's top performers!

Saturday, June 25, 2016: Pride Parade

  • Time: 5pm  
  • Address: 2800-2200 Central Ave, St. Pete

The LGBT Pride Parade, held within the Historic Kenwood Neighborhood and Grand Central District, features more than 150 organizations and businesses and over 4,500 marchers supporting and celebrating the Tampa Bay LGBT community. The Parade draws more than 200,000 people in total, making it the large LGBT Pride Parade in Florida and largest overall in St Petersburg. The Saturday Block Party begins at 5:00 p.m., held between 22nd Street and 27th Street along Central Avenue, featuring DJs, food and beverages. The Parade will roll off at Sunset.

Be Courteous

No outside beverages or alcohol may be brought to the Parade. Water and other beverages will be sold throughout Central Avenue between the blocks of 22nd and 27th Streets. In the interest of general safety, please refrain from bringing in the following to the Parade:

  • Alcohol (open container laws and city ordinances still apply)
  • Inline Skates
  • Laser pointers
  • Radios
  • Skateboards/Scooters
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons/Firearms
  • Pets or animals (we love animals, but for their safety, leave them at home)

Getting There

There are several options when coming to St Pete Pride. And as with any large event, parking can always be a challenge. If you plan on driving, we recommend you carpool. Regardless of how signs may read, St Pete Pride does not operate any parking areas near the Parade or Street Festival and advise attendees to avoid parking in paid parking lots.

PSTA buses will be running frequently along 1st Avenues North and South – parallel to the events – making it easy to leave your car at home or in an outlying parking spot while PSTA chauffeurs you to and from the celebrations. 

PSTA operates several routes along the parade and festival corridor, which will give revelers easy and frequent access to cool, comfortable buses throughout the day and well into the evening. Among the routes serving the celebration in the Grand Central District will be the Central Avenue Trolley, Routes 7, 18, 20 and 52. Several routes will also be detoured to accommodate the celebrations and those detours can be found at the PSTA Rider Alert webpage.

Sunday, June 26, 2016: Pride Festival

Expected to draw more than 50,000 of our friends, the St Pete Pride Street Festival returns to Central Avenue in the Grand Central District promising to be larger, livelier and bolder than ever! The St Pete Pride Street Festival will again be the largest community event of the season as festival goers come together to make history while enjoying a day of live performances and entertainment, community booths, art and fantastic food in paradise.

After last year's overwhelming demand, the Festival length has been extended by an entire city block, and the St Pete Pride Street Festival will be more diverse and shop-stopping than ever. Over 350 exhibitors will line both sides of Central Avenue for six city blocks in a rainbow celebration of food and beverage vendors, artists, small businesses, corporations, professional sports teams, community outreach groups, non-profit organizations and Pride themed merchandisers.
